Check out this awesome rainbow classroom activity that my husband did with the 1st/2nd grade students. For classes under 10 students each student needs to cut out their traced hands on black, purple, blue (2 colors if you can’t find “indigo”), green, yellow, orange and red construction papers. If you have more than 10 students per class each student can just trace one hand on each of those colored construction papers! Use the black color to create a border as we did in the photo above! You can attach the hands directly to a bulletin board or glue them onto a large poster board.
