This is How I Relax & Spoil Myself #teadistrict

I’m a very busy woman (aren’t we all?!). Even just this week my husband said to me “I don’t know how you do it all and keep it all together.” I was actually really shocked by this – I know I’m busy, but I never realized that HE knew I was so busy. He actually admired my extreme ability to multitask and pull of getting (most) everything done. So sometimes my house is a little messier, I might pretend not to know where my kids are, or I might take a day off of my blog – but the real way I relax and spoil myself a little is by curling up with a good book and a cup of hot gourmet tea.

I don’t really remember being a tea drinker growing up, and I’m not sure when the obsession began, but I’ve enjoyed the last few years sampling and falling in love with many new teas. My favorite are peach flavored loose leaf teas although I drink several types. A few months ago I purchased a voucher to buy gourmet tea at www.TeaDistrict.com and ordered myself 4 different bags to try. Just recently I was offered the opportunity to order 2 more bags of tea from them. I was a little nervous because ordering tea online sort of scares me. How do I know if I will like it? What if I order it and hate it? But I took the plunge anyways on a splurge and was thrilled with the detailed descriptions on their website. It REALLY helped me choose teas that I might like. With descriptions like chocolately splash of black tea, light notes of apple and rooibos, or zesty and tangy – I was able to narrow down my choices to flavors that I prefer. The other thing that I liked was that you can order some of the teas in sizes as small as.5 oz so that you can “sample” the different flavors. There are also pre-packaged tea sampler sets too.

Ok, so maybe my obsession has exploded a bit – I look like I have tea for life! :) I chose a variety of flavors to suit my mood – black tea, energy ginseng, fruity teas, sleepy teas. It’s nice to have choices! And the bags are resealable so I don’t have to worry about my tea going bad or tasting stale. There were some teas I personally didn’t care for as much, and some that I loved! I really liked the Peach White Tea, loved the Organic Keemun, and the Fairy Tale Dreams is very fruity and good for kids! I definitely recommend if you’re newer to teas and aren’t sure what you like to start with the sampler sizes, decide what you like, then buy the bigger size!
