As nice as it would be to lose a few pounds I am absolutely LOUSY at losing weight, and I’m even lousier at keeping New Years Resolutions – which is exactly why I don’t have any! GASP! I know! Not to mention that diets and I just don’t work well together! BUT just because I don’t have any New Years Resolutions doesn’t mean that I don’t have any goals for the year! Over the last few years I have been researching and trying to push my family into a healthier direction. Less toxins, more natural/organic, healthier foods, better choices, more time outdoors, etc. I know that seems to be a big movement in our country and I’m glad! I love knowing that my kids will be eating healthier than I did as a kid. There is a LOT of information out there, and not all of it is correct – so make sure you research your research to make sure what you’ve learned is correct! As part of the Million Steps Challenge that I am participating in along with the rest of our Best Buy Blogging Board (there are 9 of us including me!) we have joined together to see if we can take a MILLION steps combined in January 2013!!
What’s really motivating me is weighing in every day on the FitBit Wi-Fi Aria Scale (yes I said Wi-Fi!) which I’ll share more about later in the month as well as the Cuisinart Juice Extractor! The combination of these with my FitBit and our #MillionSteps Challenge is really getting me out of my seat and getting healthier! I am so excited for this extra jumpstart!
