My son just LOVES Santa Paws so when I found out that Santa Paws 2 was coming out I knew he would be begging to see it! It comes out TODAY on Blu-Ray & DVD! (hint hint!) Between the Disney Buddies and the Disney Santa Paws movies my boys are just absolutely nuts about these furry cute puppies! (which probably had something to do with us getting a dog ourselves!) The North Pole has a new litter of playful pups! However, when the frisky foursome—Hope, Jingle, Charity and Noble—practically destroy Santa’s Workshop with their mischievous gamboling, they realize the best way to prove that they’re responsible enough to become Santa’s Helpers is to show how well they can spread the Christmas spirit all by themselves. With help from a magic crystal, they start granting everyone’s wishes. But their good intentions backfire when one unhappy boy asks that Christmas go away forever! With his wish impetuously fulfilled, and the joyous spirit quickly disappearing from the planet, Mrs. Claus and the pups have to find a way to reverse the spell—or risk losing Christmas forever!
I really appreciate the Disney Santa Paws movies as they are very kid-friendly feel-good movies with a lesson for kids to learn. This one was just as good (or better!) than the first movie in the series. I love that it reinforces to my kids that the Christmas holidays is not all about presents for themselves and that there is a good character message behind the movie. This made a fantastic choice for our weekly family movie night and would be a fabulous gift for kids to enjoy over and over again!
