For over a year now I’ve seen several other bloggers & readers sign up and use ING Direct accounts since so many of us bank online and it’s been on my “To Do” list for a while now to set up an account. And about once a year I see that they are offering $50 cash just to try out their accounts…..to be honest I’ve just never gotten around to signing up so this year I was determined to do it for the extra $50! With earning a little bit of money here and a little bit of money there it seems to be hard to keep track and save money in one spot – I just end up dumping it in our checking account so that we can use it for bills. This is also a great idea for families that have a tough time saving money for Christmas, or for an emergency fund – just set a few dollars in your account every now and then and watch it grow! Or even your own family vacation! I’m thinking of opening up a second account for our Disney family vacation that we are planning on in 3 years too!
