What did I find this week???
A LAVA LAMP!!
My oldest son has been asking for a lava lamp for a while so I had set in my mind that I would purchase one for Christmas for him. I figured I would just have to pay the $15-$20 it cost because I just haven’t really seen a sale on lava lamps before! Imagine my surprise when I spotted one brand NEW at the thrift store!! It cost $5! My frugal self was saying that I wished it was cheaper however I knew I was willing to buy it at full price for a Christmas gift so I was thrilled to find it for only $5!!
Every year for our Christmas tradition Santa leaves one gift unwrapped out for the kids to find and use or play with before we get up so I think that this year Santa will have a glowing lava lamp for my oldest son to watch!
