No, I’m not quitting my blog!! I’m investing in it! It’s that time of year again when BlogHer has come and I’m on a plane this morning headed to the Big Apple – yep – New York City!! I had an amazing adventure there at Toy Fair in February and now I’ve got even more exciting things planned for this trip! Some people wonder why I go to BlogHer and aside from a break from the kids of course there are a lot of reasons! What most people talk about is the swag – what’s swag you ask? It’s LOTS and LOTS of FREE stuff! Seriously – I came home last year with over $600 in free stuff. NICE stuff too! But I mainly go for the relationships. No, not every company is the right fit for my site, but many are. I get one on one face time with great companies like Best Buy, Highlights, Texas Instruments, and MANY more. There are hundreds of brands represented and I love meeting as many as I can!!
While I’m at BlogHer my wonderful mother in law will be watching my kids for a few days and my incredibly wonderful husband will be driving a moving truck from our house in Florida to Iowa so please keep their journeys in your thoughts & prayers! I know – it’s a little weird that we’re all splitting for the weekend but after a lot of talking my husband decided this was best. Isn’t he sweet?
So off I go to catch my plane this morning! I will try and post updates throughout my trip like this so you guys can enjoy some of the fun with me!
