A Hands-on Lessons about Michelangelo

WOW! What a cool idea – check out how this teacher taught her students about Michelangelo! I can’t wait to do this with my kids when they are older!

That is SO cool! I am going to do this with my 6th graders in a couple weeks when I get to that time period in World History.

Hi Crystal,

Thanks for including the pic of my students painting like Michaelangelo – they LOVED IT! They go home a little messy, but with a greater appreciation for the work it must have taken to paint that whole chapel!

Enjoy the rest of your school year!

Dream Big,
Suzy

I did this with my 6th graders today. They loved it! Our class used crayons and colored pencils rather than paint since we only have 50 minute classes but it was a blast. It was interesting to hear about their tired arms, their headaches, and how much harder it must have been for Michelangelo since he didn't have air conditioning and our room was warm today. Thanks again for posting this!
